message

I’m Nikita Jain, a Counselling Psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals through their emotional growth and mental health journeys. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons.) from Mody University.

My professional journey spans both clinical and educational settings, allowing me to work with diverse emotional and behavioural concerns. During my time in clinical practice, I gained hands-on experience in conducting detailed case histories, administering psychological assessments, and facilitating therapy sessions aimed at improving emotional regulation and overall psychological well-being.

I have also contributed to de-addiction counselling and participated in mental health awareness workshops in academic institutions. I also served as a Tele-Counsellor at the Prerna Helpline, an emotional wellness initiative by the Physics Wallah Foundation. This role deepened my understanding of the challenges young individuals face while preparing for competitive examinations.

My therapeutic orientation is eclectic, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. I have also completed specialized training in Trauma-Informed Approaches to Psychological Interventions.

I work primarily with adolescents and young adults, supporting them with concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress management, self-esteem, relationships, grief, anger, adjustment, and performance issues.

For me, counselling is more than a profession—it is a meaningful space of connection and growth. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their emotions, build resilience, and move toward personal well-being with clarity and confidence.
